The Barids are Buried at Bidar

Bidar can be called the City of Tombs. In many ways the town reminded me of Old Delhi.
There is the Fort - which is one of the largest citadels in the country and has numerous monuments within its limits.
There are Madrasas,Dargahs and Masjids all over.
And there are the Tombs of the Rulers of Bidar.
The Barid Shahi gardens is where everyone in Bidar head to in the evenings. Manicured lawns, well maintained and lit Tombs and fountains draw the locals to spend a leisurely time here.
There are fountains too...
I had young Mr. Dattu Tuppad, a teacher in Local college, as my guide.
There are many more tombs to be found in Bidar...
One can find architectural perfection here..
ll in all Bidar is beautiful and bewitching. Will cover the Fort later..
